这句话变为被动语态，如下：

The earth isshielded bythe ozone layerfrom the suns ultraviolet rays.

The earth isshieldedfrom the suns ultraviolet rays bythe ozone layer.

哪句话正确？

1. 网友的疑问有道理。我查询了一下语法网的这篇文章，倒不是说文中有什么错误，而是在含有双宾语的被动句中，由to 或for 引出“直接宾语”的问题，跟被动语态不用by 引出施事者，混为一谈了。如：be known to sb. 不说 be known by sb.

2. The ozone layer shields the earth from the suns ultraviolet rays.

该句变被动语态，我倾向这个表达：

The earth is shielded from the suns ultraviolet rays by the ozone layer.

【缘由】from 跟shielded 的关系更为密切，所以，by + 动作的施事者 靠后。
